Our Story

About HalalMortgageHub

An independent platform built to help Muslims make informed, Sharia-compliant decisions when buying a home — without the confusion.

Why We Built This

For millions of Muslims in the UK, US, Canada, and beyond, buying a home presents a unique challenge: conventional mortgages involve interest (riba), which is prohibited in Islamic finance. Yet finding clear, unbiased information about halal alternatives is surprisingly difficult.

Most financial websites either ignore Islamic finance entirely, or bury it in jargon. We built HalalMortgageHub to change that — a dedicated, straightforward resource that explains the options, runs the numbers, and connects you with the right providers.

No sales pressure. No hidden agenda. Just clear information.

What We Offer

Free Calculators

Plain-English Guides

We explain complex Islamic finance concepts in simple language, so you can make confident decisions without needing a finance degree.

Provider Comparisons

We research and list Sharia-compliant mortgage providers across the UK, US, Canada, and Australia so you can compare your options fairly.

Up-to-Date Rates

The halal finance market changes frequently. We keep our information current so you're always working with accurate data.

Our Values

We believe that financial tools should be accessible to everyone, regardless of faith or background. Islamic finance principles — avoiding exploitation, promoting fairness, sharing risk — are values worth understanding broadly.

We are committed to accuracy and transparency. Where we are uncertain, we say so. Where rules differ between countries or scholars, we explain the differences. We never simplify at the expense of truth.

We respect the diversity within the Muslim community. Different madhabs (schools of Islamic law) may have differing views on certain finance structures. We present the mainstream scholarly consensus and note where opinions diverge.
